A Knot is a type of a method which is used for the fastening or for securing linear material; a knot can be tied by tying or interweaving a rope. The knot can consist of the length of one or more sections of rope or string, of some form of webbing twine or strap. The are various types of knots some of the examples include: - Splice, Two Half Hitches, Figure of Eight Knot, Matthew Walker Knot, Turks Head Knot, Shroud Knot, Manrope Knot, Granny Knot and the Reef Knot or the Square Knot.
