How Has Christianity Impacted The World?

It has done alot of good and bad at the same time. Like almost everything else it has had its pro's and con's. The message of christianity has had a posotive impact because it is a message of love, redemption, peace, power, and prosperity. Now some christianity's MESSENGERS have had a negetive effect on the world such as, Jim Jones, some of the former pope's, and some of the early American Christian's. Chritianity has a great posotive message but the people who deliver the message aren't always practicing what they preach. For the most part the message and hope it brings has done nothing but good. Now when it comes to hell I'll admit that some preachers have used that message to control and gain power over people so they have abused the message but God is a just, kind, loving, and forgiving God!

The biggest impact christianity has had on the human race has been the dark ages where the roman catholic church burned an estimated 4,000,000 women for having viewpoint's that differed from the popes viewpoint's. Also the church crusades & forceing molten lead down the throats of children while there parents were forced to watch, etc. Etc.  Answer provided by buttcheck
