Under the normal conditions, periods can stay for 2-7 days. Periods which stay for more than 7 days and less than 2 days are abnormal and need treatment from the doctor. Periods should come after every 26-32 days. Periods before 21 days or more than 35 days gap are also abnormal and need visit to doctor.
