How Do I Get My Gerbil To Stop Chewing On Her Cage?

Does your gerbil have enough regular chew toys that he can chew as an alternative?  Try putting some lemon juice on the areas where he was chewing.  Most can not stand the taste and it will deter them.  You can also try lightly blowing in his face while he is chewing the area.
