If you have two computers and want to connect to each other than you need a Cable called CAT 5 and then RJ 45 Connectors and then make a Cross Cable to connect both computer.
Method of Cross Cable. 1236 == 3612
After making Cross Cable try to enter the IP Address and Gateway. Follow the below Instructions.
E.G. PC-1 IP Address
IP Address 10.0.0.1
Subnet Mask 255.0.0.0
Gate Way 10.0.0.2

PC- 2 IP Address
IP Address 10.0.0.2
Subnet Mask 255.0.0.0
Gateway 10.0.0.1
