    Manilla generally refers to two things. One is the strong paper, which is also a thin cardboard and which has a smooth light brown finish.  This paper is made from cellulose pulp, which is extracted or removed from wood or rags or certain grasses.

    On the other hand Manilla is also referred to a small city that is situated in New South Wales, Australia. It is situated approximately 41 kilometres from the provincial city of Tamworth. This place attracts tourist from fishing and paragliding area.

    Manilla is the name of another city that is situated in Crawford County, Iowa. It lies along the West Branch of the West Nishnabotna River.
