    The tasks of a professional manager varies from organization to organization. However some of the general tasks that he would have to perform in any organization are as follows:
    - Delegate tasks to individuals
    - Convey goals and objectives to sub-ordinates
    - overlook their daily workings and judge their performance
    - Keep track of the progress on attainment of objectives
    - Take part in the recruitment process
    - Help in selection of suitable employees
    - Design job descriptions and assign employees to them.
    - Maintain discipline and fair play.
