Why Is Family More Important Than Friends?

Was this a joke with the answer included?  I seem to have missed the actual question.

Would that families could give unlimited support.  They can't always though.

And sometimes families are composed of friends and/or co-workers rather than blood kin and legal kin.

You can't make comparison with family & friends. Each have their own importance. Family are there always to support you any time.
Friends are also important growth of a person

Unless you have a true friend, one who has been there with you for years and years, nothing can replace your family. While it is true that not all families are the same by giving support and being understanding no matter what, in the end as they say, friends come and go while your family will always be your family, no matter what. Even if you argue and never speak to each other for the rest of your life, you cannot change that fact. As to what skyadamani said, you can make a comparison between family and friends. My best friend and I have known each other for over 35 years, yet, I call my youngest sister my true best friend because we share everything, we can talk and even disagree about things and we never, ever let it interfere with our relationship because we respect each others opinion. On the other hand, I cannot stand being around my older brother and my oldest sister because they still insist on treating both of us like children and they feel since they are older all important decisions should be made by them. So there it is.

I think family is more important than friends because our family more know about us especially our problems.in addition,we live together with our family longer than friends no wonder all our problems we can share with our family

Family are the ones who cared for you and your mom and dad are a part of your family and they gave birth to you and if it were not for them then you would not even be alive right now!
