Hi there,
I know this might sound silly but its worth a try. Have you tried starving him for 24 hrs to give his little system a little time to chill out then after that fed him bland food like chicken and rice and gradually build up to his normal food. That's what I try first when my cats have a bit of a funny tummy.

Try changing the food. My cats LOVE Purina kitten food, but all of the get loose stool as a result. If I don't give them Purina Kitten Food, but make them eat something else, they have normal B.M.'s. They will pass up everything else if they have a choice.
It's worth a try.
They may not eat it at first, but if they get hungry, they won't have much of a choice!
Hey. It's worth a try, and it's a LOT cheaper than pouring money into the vet for a bunch of unneeded tests. If the cat's healthy, why spend more money at the vet for more "tests".
