Brown discharge is old blood. This blood in the form of spots occurs in different conditions. Sometimes, a woman may have spotting at the time of ovulation. Brown spotted discharge is also reported before and after the periods. Sometimes, brown spotting occurs on your due dates if you are pregnant. Whenever you get spotting instead of normal flow on your due dates and you had unprotected sex during last menstrual cycle then get pregnancy test. So, having brown spotting at different stages of the cycle is not abnormality and it does not indicates an infection.

I'm not seeing my period and I'm not pregnant,but the situation is that when I wipe with the tissue after peeing blood comes on the tissue and the discharge produced gives off a bad smell. But really is this a very bad infection that can cause damage?
I am a woman with a 10yr I.U.D. And my boyfriend just had a vasectomy bout a month ago and after we have sex I have a brown discharge. Can some1 give me some answers please?
