I love Colorado Too!!! Snowboarding up in the mountains is so much fun!... but anyways, I think there's gotta be a time to separate from family and start your own life. If you think Colorado would be a great place to live (including, finding a job, raising kids, retiring), then that'd be great to live there! If you want to stay closer to your family in Texas, maybe you can just retire and live in Colorado? I don't know, but I hope this helps.
