           If it is your graduation ceremony you are going to, you would obviously have to go in the official colours of your college or university.            If you are going to attend the graduation ceremony of a sibling, spouse, child, or relative, you would be advised to wear your best formal clothes, as it is an occasion of celebration, and you dressing elegantly and formally would shine well on your relative who is graduating as well.
