17year Jack Russell Breathing Heavily. Won't Eat Or Drink. Very Weak. Is There Anything I Can Do?

Yesterday, my 17 year old female Jack Russell began breathing heavily. I picked her up and she was very limp and could not stand. Brought her inside. She continued the heavy breathing for several hours. This morning, she could stand and walk, but is very weak . Will not eat or drink. Is her body shutting down or maybe some other problem. Please help.

This might be the age which is causing lot of problems. She might be suffering from arthritis and might be in pain. At this age she might be having circulatory insufficiency, heart problems, gums and teeth diseases, thyroid problem, intestinal parasite and many complications. The old age is itself a syndrome.
In my opinion you have to take her to vet for the diagnosis of the problem and treatments to improve quality of life.
