23 Year Old Caucasian Husband Has Blue Eyes, 22 Year Old Vietnamese Mother Has Brown Eyes, First Child Has Hazel Eyes Other Two Sons Have Brown Eyes. Why Doesn't First Son Have Brown Eyes Since Brown Is Dominant Eye Color?

This looks like a riddle.
The husband has blue eyes.  The mother of the children has brown eyes.  What color eyes does the father of the first child have?
 
Seriously, either parent may have passed on genes that were not the same as the ones governing their own eye color.  The father and mother may both have passed on genes for hazel eyes.  They each have two genes but they only get to pass on one of them.
