This is only possible when ovaries are removed due to risk of ovarian cancer and the metastasis has occurred before the removal of ovaries. The Ovarian cancer is hard to detect in early stages as it has no symptoms in the start. It is diagnosed when the cancerous cells have been already been spread. This is the reason of having ovarian cancer with removed ovaries. For more details, visit Ovarian cancer.

I was told that I could have some cells left from my ovary after they were removed. Could those few cells generate cancer?
