Is Junk Mail Becoming A Big Issue Day By Day?

There is no doubt about junk mail being one of the biggest problems for any customer because there is a huge pile of unsolicited emails barging in to corporate and consumer mail boxes and this is becoming a big issue for all.

People have started getting really embarrassing emails to their personal and professional inboxes especially by companies promoting products to enhance sexual desires.

Working men and women waste ample amounts of time deleting the junk mail in order to clear their inbox so that they can receive work related emails which are important. Junk mail can really take up a lot of space thus stopping other mails to be received by the recipient.

One of the anti-spam companies, Brightmail, came up with the research that pornographic spam has increased by more than 300% since 2001. They checked that 45% of mails received per day are usually junk mail. More than 2 billion junk mails are blocked by Microsoft every day that come to their servers.

Junk mails are a big issue because they block up a company's network system and is a big problem for any IT manager in a corporate company. These mails also tend to have viruses which can disrupt a lot of work.

This is the reason why many major mail servers are joining hands to work against junk mail and some how control it to reduce customer frustration.
