    Saint Patrick's Day it is also known as St. Paddy's Day or Paddy's Day, which is celebrated as the feast day. This day is declared in honour of one of the patron saints of Ireland, which is on March 17th. This day is declared as St. Patrick's Day because it was on this day that Saint Patrick expired. It is also declared as a national holiday for the Irish people. It is declared as a bank holiday in Northern Ireland and also as a public day in the Republic of Ireland, Montserrat, and the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. It also declared an official holiday in the rest of Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States. There is also a very famous saying that states "Everyone wants to be Irish on St. Patrick's Day."
