I lowered mine significantly, by not drinking soda or coffee, they have huge amounts of sodium. Also replace your salt, with sea salt it tastes better, requires a lot less to flavour, you can always see how much your using. Sea salt comes in large grains, and medium, grain. I bought a salt grinder. I love the texture, I have lost tons of water weight.
You will need to still use small amounts of table salt for iodine. Very small amounts.
