Why Does The Southern Hemisphere Have A Completely Different Night Sky?

I've always wondered....

Answer Question

Because the earths axis is pretty much fixed, two friends, one at the north pole and one at the south pole will be looking at two different parts of the sky.

Since the earths axis is fairly fixed, each friend will always be looking at the same his or her same part of the sky.

He or she  will, however,  look at his part of the sky at different angles. This is due to the earths rotation about its axis.
