    The Taj Mahal: It is situated on the river of Jumna and is considered to be the most magnificent building in the world. It is a white marble, mausoleum built (1632-1643) in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India; by Mogul Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal.

    The sun filters restfully into the building through fretted marble screens. Twenty thousand artisans were engaged in the construction, who took eleven years in building the central mausoleum and took another six years to finish the adjoining Mosque, the an annexes, the gate ways and the garden.

    The craftsmen were brought in from various parts of the world; a master mason from Afghanistan, a dome builder from Turkey, pinnacle makers from Uzbekistan, flower carvers from central Asia, Calligraphers from Iraq and inlay specialists' from Florence. Master Isa, an architect of Persia is generally credited with the design.

    The Statue of Liberty: A bronze figure, almost 40 meters high (151 feet above, 148 feet pedestal) of a woman, holding up a torch, on Liberty Island in New York harbor, designed by Bart Holdi. The said statue was presented to the United States as gifts by France.Thousands of tourists are visiting here every year.

      Taj mahal is situated in Agra ,india,the place famous for this
      it is one of the seven wonders of the world
      but statue of liberty is not in India ,it is in new york
