Which Is Smarter A Horse Or A Dog?

I'm pretty sure dogs are smarter than horses. The only reason I assume this is because I've heard on several occasions how simple horses are. Anyone know better?

Actually, the horse is the only animal who will run back into a burning barn. So, it's safe to say that a dog is smarter than a horse.
