Where Is The Tricycle Theatre?

The Tricycle Theatre is located on Kilburn High Road. Kilburn High Road is located in the Kilburn district of north London. It is a famous venue for the performing arts, and it is one of the few venues where the audience can watch a show at a subsidised price. The Theatre works with political themes, put up by playwrights of Irish, Afro-Caribbean, Jewish and Asian origin. This is a proof of the fact that people from various backgrounds live in Kilburn.

The Tricycle Theatre was established in 1980 and rebuilt after being gutted by fire in 1987. The refurbished complex now comprises a theatre with a seating capacity of 230, a cinema hall with a seating capacity of 300, a large studio for rehearsals, a studio where audio-visual aids are used for educational purposes (known as the Paint Box), a small space where plays and theatre workshops are conducted (the James Baldwin Studio), a room where workshops are conducted (the Creative Space), a café-cum-bar and an art gallery.
