First take the measurement around your neck and multiply the figure by 12.  Take 2 strands of that length from the hemp twine, hold them over your index finger and make an over hand knot. Now secure this knot by either holding it in something or putting something over it and divide the four free strands into 3 groups, 2 pf the single strands and 1 with two strands of hemp. Pull the strand on the left diagonally to the left and place the end of this strand between the two strand sin the middle. Now place the strand which is on the right and place it on top of the left strand and to the right of middle two. Now, pull the right strand and place it under the point where the other two groups of strands meet. Now, pull both the left and the right hands really tight. You will now have a knot exactly below the know that holding the two together. You can now repeat the same thing with the strand that's on the left. Repeat the entire process depending on the length of your necklace.
