How Do I Send Email/slides From Powerpoint?

I've tried different ways - it just doesn't go through - Help!!! I just need this for my presentation for adult class. Do I need an extra software to boost my power point - I'm still on 2003. Can you tell me if this is obsolete? Thanks.

I am still using powerpoint 2000 no problem. I just click on file/send to/mail recipient(as attachment) fill in the to address and click send.

If the file is not getting through, try changing the file extension from .ppt to .pp, then compress the file to a .zip format and send it.  The receiver will have to unzip the file and rename it to .ppt. It is possible that the person you are trying to send to is on a server that is blocking files wit5h a .ppt extension.
