My Husband Is A Smoker. May This Have Effect ?
I'm sure I'm not a negative smoker but I'm afraid to be affected by him especially he is (my husband) he loves me more than any thing(he already smokes away to avoid hurting me) so I'd use this to push him leave smoking. I want to know how his smoking can affect me even if I'm not second hand smoker and I'm sure this will help me persuading him.

You could ask him politely to smoke outside. Second hand smoke does cause health problems and can cause lung cancer. I know that it is a touchy subject when it's your husband. Let him know that you aren't trying to tell him what to do; however you are concerned about your health. Sometime you need to talk to him about his smoking being bad for his health, but not right now.

Quitting smoking is not an easy thing to do! You are blessed to know that your husband loves you so much, but sometimes, the addiction of smoking is harder to quit even though they want to, I should know. I think about my daughter and my husband, (who also smokes), I think about my health, and I really want to quit, but the monster that has me addicted so badly, is fierce, and relentless.
I have tried everything, patches, acupuncture, and medicine, I am still smoking. I even cry about it! I have to want this for myself, as your husband should too. I don't think that you can bribe him into quitting, but there are tactics that you can use, aside from totally supporting him in quitting.
Tell him to add up all the money that he spends a month on his cigarettes, and multiply that by 12, this way he can see how much money he is spending on them throughout the year. Tell him that he can put that money away for a while in an account, and after a year of not smoking, he can reward himself with that money, and not for cigarettes either.
Food will taste better, and it will taste great if you are a good cook, smoking near or around the children, can cause asthma, which will cause more bills other than just the smoking. Often times, taking up a hobby, is cheaper than smoking. A hobby that costs $60 a month, is a lot cheaper than the cigarettes, and keeps you occupied so that you aren't thinking about smoking. Hope this helps, good luck to you.

Smoking by your husband can affect you in two ways. Firstly you are passive smoker and have all risks of smokers. Secondly, if your husband suffer from any illness due to smoking, this is also your loss. Smoking is not difficult to quit. If you have children then they can play major part. I am giving you a link of a website which gives comprehensive information on the hazards of smoking and advantage of quitting. Please visit and read it for your husband. Quit smoking.

I guess you're asking if this will have an effect on his health. Absolutely will; in innumerable ways it will make for a life of misery and expense unless you're extremely lucky. I smoked for more years than I care to discuss and have been fighting smoking-related cancer for over two years. The second-hand smoke from your husband's smoking puts you at great risk, also.

If he smokes around you or even in a room in your house, that smell will stay there. It will definitely effect you. If you enhale it you will probably get 2nd hand smoke. You could get lung cancer. You can offer to help him if he is willing to quit or just ask him not to smoke around you. Good luck!
