Do Rabbits Eat Plants?

Answer Question

3 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

The mainstay of a rabbit's diet should be timothy hay available at all times.  Your rabbit should also be fed a high quality pelleted rabbit food.  Vegetables can be supplemented as well.  Fruits and treats should be used sparingly.  Water should be available at all times.

Yes, rabbits eat vegetables, fruits, and some plants like dandelions, clover, alfalfa hay, grass, etc. In my experience, they love green plants, fruits, vegetables, etc more than hard food. (pellets)
