Why Does Water Come Out Of The Overflow Valve On A 1997 Ford Escort?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Three reasons I can think of are,, thermostat is sticking, water pump is going bad, or is bad --OR-- brace yourself, this one is bad. A head gasket could be blown, meaning this, when the piston in the cylinder where the gasket failed comes up on the compression stroke, it forces pressure into where the water is in the engine in turn forces water to places it shouldn't be going
