That sounds more like pressure sores and bad nursing. If they are not turned regularly and the body treated they will have sores.

She could be sore on her head too if she is on her back too much. Speak to the doctor in charge. Ask them what is causing the problem and what they are going to do to cure the sores. Do not be put off getting an answer.
