Should I be checked for colon cancer due to these symptoms?

It doesn't sound like cancer, but you should see a doctor about your constipation so he can give you a laxative and keep an eye on you.

You could have IBS with constipation. You should go to the doctor to rule out anything more serious. If you have IBS check out Heather's web site for it.

I have a 3 month hx of constipation to the point where I literally won't go until I take a laxative pill. No pain, no bloating!! weird. When i do go, the stool is snake like, very thin. Doc has ordered a colonoscopy. sound like lower intestinal CA?
