A Judge can be held to answer for what he/she says and does. He/she is appointed to that position. There have been many judges that have been removed from their position because of what they have said and done in courtroom.

A judge has the authority to do or say whatever they please in their courtroom. You have no recourse on anything that was said to you or about your family in that courtroom. The judge is the judge for a reason. And if your child has had some trouble with the law, that could be the judge's opinion.
