Tray works ok, but dvd won't spin - stays in same position - message comes up "incorrect disc"

I hope you are using good discs. It looks it is spindle motor problem. You have to change the motor or you can also drop a little bit of 3 in 1 oil on the shaft. Secondly, the laser might have gone out of alignment. You have to repair it.
