As complicated as it sounds, this is still easier than anything else that I've tried.
    -disconnect catalytic converter
    -disconnect front engine mount
    -loosen the 2 other mounts
-with both front wheels off the ground and tranny in park rotate engine
           forward and block it.

I was able to pull the van up on ramps and reach up and remove the plugs and wires. It wasnt an easy task but it worked.

I haven't done this yet, but I have seen this for T&C's in two other sites: 1. Leave van parked on ground. 2. For safety, remove positive (+) harness from battery.  3. Remove both windshield wipers. 4. Remove 6 fasteners securing the wiper grill work. Remove grill. 5. Remove 6 fasteners securing wiper grill tub assembly. 6. Carefully disconnect wiper motor electrical harness and the wiper fluid hose. In 20 minutes or so everything between engine and the automobile firewall is now exposed, including the PVC valve (replace it if need be). Protect your fender paint with a blanket. Insure new spark plugs are properly gapped (yes, we all know the spark plugs come from the factory gapped perfectly for your car but the box could have been dropped on the floor or counter so the gap is now ZERO. My 2001 gap is .050 inches for a RE14PLPS plug (my concern started when I found one of the front plugs had not been tightened, the gap was .070 inches, and the plug threads were dry).
