Amovie Which Influenced You?

"A" movie?! Just one, huh? I'm funny when it comes to watching movies. I don't watch many movies for mere entertainment, like the pink panther series, or animated movies. I tend to watch those that offer education (documentaries), or all movies where i can identify with the characters based on the integrity and intensity of the actors. For example, silence of the lambs is one of my favorites because of how i interpret the body language and eye movements of jodie foster and anthony hopkins. They are both great actors because, as i sense, they simply become their characters. I am sam with sean penn is another great movie not only because he is a fantastic actor but because of the story. I have very strong opinions and feelings about how the mentally ill and disabled are sometimes treated by others, both by professional mental health workers and the average person walking down the street. It's true that we fear what we don't understand and we too often try to disguise that fear with humor and negative criticism. I am sam brings alot of truth to light about their treatment by society but more importantly shows that when all is said and done they are just like you and me - people with feelings, emotions, knowledge, and what i see as a true, simple understanding and application of love and caring. So, i guess to answer your question directly i honestly don't have "A" favorite movie. They all influence me to some degree. Great question. Thx.
