A share and a stock both are same but a security may be a share or a debenture. It means a share is a stock and a security both but a security could be a share or a debenture

We can say that Share is one of the equal parts into which the ownership of a company is divided and which can be bought by members of the public.
A Stock on the other hand is part of the ownership of a company which people buy as an investment.And finally a Security is the investment in a company or in government debt which can be traded on the financial markets and which produces an income for the investor
