Can Going Off Birth Control Pills Make Your Period Late?

Answer Question

3 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

When you go off of birth control, you will start your cycle, and then it should be very close to your natural body cycles. If you have been off of them for a while then I would suggest you get a test done with your doctor. Hope this helps.

I had my period before I stopped taking birth control and then a couple days after stopping, I had it again. Can that cause me to miss my period the next month?

You may miss up to six months. Due to your system is returning to its normal state. It also determines how long you were on the pills.

It all depends on your body. This was my first month coming off birth control in 7 years and my period was a week late. If u dont get it within a few weeks or you have any worries see your doctor.
