What Is Oil And Vinegar Salad Dressing?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Oil and vinegar is just that. Usually oil is vegetable oil, I prefer olive oil, and vinegar to give it a tang. There is usually some spices added as well for taste.  I myself stay away from vinegar, I don't care for it, so when I make my own dressing, will use lemon juice insted.  Some people use different fruit juices, like vinegar wine which is just wine gone sour. Or grapefruit, that seems to be very popular.  Me, lemon, olive-canola oil, caraway seed, a little salt and pepper and voila. Nice on anything
