 You can download the CPU-Z software from here:
 
http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php
 
run the application and check the following:
The processor speed at the end of the field Specification
the core speed field
both of them should be almost the same, if they are not the same then your processor could be either overclocked or underclocked.
