Can You Get A Domestic Violence Charge Expunged From Your Record In Illinois?

Answer Question

I am not sure about Illinois law, but according to the web expungement site www.expungedomesticviolence.com it is possible to expunge domestic violence arrests and convictions in many states.  You should contact an attorney in IL who specializes in expungement.   I have heard good things about Tamara Holder in Chicago.

You can get almost any misdemeanour expunged in Illinois ; and some felonies . I believe the only un-expunge-able offens ,  would be class X felonies .
