I agree with guy above me, it seems a swollen brain is the cause. Although it was a bit stronger than a regular aspirin, and he stated before that he was allergic to said dug...make your own conclusions, i have no idea, i looked it up cause i heard his teachers' helpers killed him for spilling a hidden art. Which is def. Possible. I'd really like to know, but probably won't ever, too bad...

Please stop leaving false and untrue statements! I have been researching Bruce Lee's cause of death for many years and he simply died from a drug overdose.
You are referring to "Game of Death"? No he didn't died from a gunshot wound, he died from a drug overdose of hash+aspirin which cause his brain to swell. Furthermore, he never got to finished "Game of Death" because he received an offer to film "Enter the Dragon".

He did have swelling in the head. It was caused by a allergic reaction to aspirin. He died in his sleep. Still to this date, people blame his wife for the murder of Lee. Don't believe what you watch on tv...LoL...Tv also said David Carradine hung himself. Thats funny...

Thank you taimur for your wikpedia answer to bruce lees brain edema. I believe you want to know what killed bruce lee, am i right? Bruce lee was was trying to set a speed record with his nun chucks. Contact was made with each one, and he hit himself in the head causing his brain edema. He was killed pretty much instantly

No! No! No! Nothing to do with nunchucks and he wasn't shot accidentally (that was his son Brandon Lee on the set of The Crow)! He had complained of a headache before a dinner date and was given an aspirin-type analgesic. He didn't show up for the meal and when they attempted to wake him he was in a deep coma; pronounced dead on arrival at hospital. There was indeed a brain oedema (correct spelling people!); they found tiny traces of cannabis in his system but the coroner ruled it was as significant as if he'd had a 'cup of tea' in his system. His death was recorded as misadventure as they could not decide exactly what caused the oedema and in turn his death - it may even have been a reaction to the analgesic. So - not dramatic, not exciting, not suspicious, just a very sad loss of a very young, talented man.
Where did you get this information from, this is totally untrue! Bruce died from a drug overdose.
The actor, martial artist, Bruce Lee was reported to have massive swelling on at least one side of his head. This suggests severe trauma such as severe blows and beating about the head, or even possibly, a microwave type weapon focused and aimed at his head-neck area. Be realistic in your thinking. Just smoking herb doesn't cause that kind of head trauma. Microwave weapons, even makeshift ones, have existed long before the seventies when he died...or was killed.

He had a very controversial death. He had dealings with the Chinese mafia like everybody did in China and he had a debt that he couldn't pay, so they killed him and his son many years later. He was with one of his mistresses who was also an actress, and had smoked some hash, that he had recently discovered to be a miracle herb. The hash caused a blood clot to burst in his head and he died.
There are lots of stories out there about this subject, but I don't think it's from smoking hash, or if it was I think it was tainted with poison.
More people went to his funeral than any other in Chinese history. He was a huge hero to the Chinese public.

Where is everyone getting their information from, please do your research before posting these lies! He couldn't stand "The Chinese Mafia". He NEVER associated with these people. On the other hand, his MISTRESS knew them because of her gambling debts. He did assumed some hash before he died, but he didn't suffered from no BLOOD CLOT! His brain swelled from the allergic reaction of the aspirin and hash which contributed to his death.
