    The largest rodent in the world is Capybara. An adult capybara can grow to be over 4 ft long and about 1.6 ft tall and can weigh up to a maximum of 140 pounds. Capybaras are heavy, barrel-shaped animals. The color of their fur varies from reddish-brown on the top to yellowish-brown on the lower part of their body. They are mostly found in the sub-continent of South America.
