    Java Platform or "Java ME" is a set of Java APIs for developed the progress of software's for resource-constrained gadgets like PDAs, cell phone and other customer appliances.  

    Java ME is properly a design, even though the word is often applied to address runtime implementation of the requirement. Java ME was created under the Java Community Processor as JSR 68. The development of the platform has deserted the umbrella Java Specification Request in support of separate JSRs for the diverse flavours of Java ME.

    Java ME was originally created by Sun Microsystems and is a substitute for an identical technology, PersonalJava. Java ME has become a well known option for making games for mobile phones, as they can be copied to a PC during the development phase and could be simply loaded to cell phones.
