Write Down The Note On Super-things And Not Super-men.

The essay "Super" has been written by an unknown writer. It is a humorous and ironical essay. The writer remarks that the word "super" is widely used as a prefix to ordinary things of daily use. Particularly in advertisements every thing seems to be super. For instance we have a whole range of super things such as super soap, super cigarettes, super fan etc, the term "Super" is like the title before everything just as esquire is used after every body.

The writer says that today's world is a world of super-things. Everything around us is called super. No one calls himself a superman. But everyone is determined to call his inventions super. The writer ironically remarks that super things of this world are not made by supermen but ordinary men. Super does not exist in his world. He is somebody very powerful and dreadful to be found only in future. Some ancient men tried to be super men because they are proud of themselves. Ancient princes and kings expressed their superiority by their dress and manners.

Men of present age are not interested in becoming supermen. They are more interesting in boasting upon their products by calling them super. But a super is no better than a common soap. It is only soap with prefix. In fact, misuse of this word has made it worth less. If we cannot do without a prefix, we must find a new one,
