Shark Reef snorkeling is the nearest snorkeling nearest to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

By now there must be an artificial cement pond that appears just like a lagoon complete with aquatic fern & fauna, it's only missing you to have it approximate a real one!
But there is the Atlantic Ocean, due east about one hours drive,very near to Cocoa Beach. And not to far from that Kennedy Space Center and interesting full day of above ground, way above!
The snorkeling for real, right with actual commercial sponge divers etc. Is two plus hours to the south west and south of Tampa, Florida and is St. Petersburg for renown diving too! Get in contact with Florida's Chamber of Commerce, and they will send information and discount coupons, too!
