Boost Mobile implies an Irvine, California-based mobile phone brand which essentially launched back in the year 2000 in Australia (Over Optus). Nextel Communications which is now Sprint Nextel) is the one that brought the Boost brand later, in the year 2002, to the United States. It, at present, fully owns the American division of this Boost Mobile. In the US, it has these elite Motorola iDEN phones which are made unique to Boost. Boost Mobile employs Sprint Nextel's iDEN network along with these Motorola phones.
Just as its contract-based cousin, the walkie-talkie feature (that is "push-to-talk" or "PTT") would be the focal feature of Boost Mobile. It is this feature that the iDEN network is essentially built around. You can view these exclusive Motorola mobiles and purchase the same via the Boost website.
