Can I Transfer Data/files From 3 Different O/s To An External Hard Drive?

We have 3 old computers that we want to get rid of, but first we want to save the data/files. Each computer has a different o/s.Can all this still be transferred to 1 ext. Hard drive?

    It depend on OS's. If your three different OS are support to your external hard drive's File System and Identify the drive then no problem. Definitely you can transfer your information. Good thing is Most file systems contain now day's external hard drives are supported by almost all the OS.
    Data / Information are Independent and not unique to specific OS. All data saved using 0's and 1's(Binary format at last). Some data types specific to a specific OS and hard to find a software to read that data in another OS (e.g: .DOCX files in windows office 2007, sun raster graphics)
