Only about 25% (1/4) of women get pregnant immediately without using any contraceptive within one year. Usually you are not considered to have fertility problems (that is getting pregnant) until you have tried for one full year, without using any birth control, and still cannot get pregnant. Then you may want to see a Gyn doctor for hormonal blood tests. 8 months is not enough to start worrying. So, Relax! And also, when you are tense during sex, anxious about wanting badly to get pregnant, you cut down your chances of getting pregnant.

My first pregnancy took 2 years, does that mean I should just go right to the doctor so I don't have to wait 2 more years?
