Hamlet: Prince of Denmark is often regarded as the best play written by William Shakespeare. The plot of the play revolves around the castle of Elsinore which is based on the actual Kronborg Castle in Denmark. The protagonist of the play is Prince Hamlet and the other main characters are his Ghost of the dead King Hamlet, Claudius the King's brother and reigning monarch, Queen Gertrude Hamlet's mother and wife also to the new King and several others.
The story involves the ghost of King Hamlet asking his son Prince Hamlet to avenge his death which was caused by his very own brother. Hamlet decides to act crazy in order to exact revenge and manages to do so but there result a number of other fatalities including his mother the Queen and Prince Hamlet himself.
