What Are Pop-up Books?

Pop up books are types of three dimensional and moveable books or types of three dimensional greeting cards. It is said that the force for all pop up books is the Kinetic Energy and it is the energy that comes as the result of motion of the Kinetic energy, it is created by opening a page or by turning a wheel or by pulling a tab.

The creation and designs of such books is known as paper engineering, the general term for pop up books is known as Moveable books, one of the biggest maker of pop up books was 'Child craft books' .

Moveable books were actually created long before, and the audience for these books was actually adults and not children, the first moveable book was supposedly a manuscript for an astrological book in the year 1306.
