Do You Think That If I Buy The Book On My Car It Will Give Me A List Of Reasons For These Lights To Come On In The Dash? I Can Not Think Of Anything Else It Could Be.

Please help me with my 93 Mazda 626 firstofall my battery light came on along with the rear light dash light indicators. First instinct was to check the rear lights evrything was fine. Then was driving to work the next day and radio went first. I knew either the battery or the alternator. So my next move was to go to autozone and get my battery checked, they told meIneededabattery so I purchased one then same problem occurred same lights on in the dash so Ibuy and alternator, install, same thing now what doi do? Oh one more thing I have tested all fuses, and battery cables.

I'm assuming that you have checked the taillights and brake lights. If you observe them for a moment to see if the brightness of a bulb changes or if it goes off and back on, you should make sure that bulb has a good, clean ground. You should also find out if your alternator has an internal voltage regulator. If it doesn't, then you may want to connect a voltmeter to the positive and negative posts of the battery while the car is running to verify that you have the correct voltage. 14 volts is what I'd consider good. Turning on accessories such as a/c and headlights should not cause the voltage to drop down very much, and revving the engine should not cause the voltage to increase that much either. Watching your headlights for consistent brightness while revving the engine and turning on and off accessories can give you a feel for how consistent your voltage is. Car stereo amps can draw a lot of battery current, and the fact that you are having problems with your radio might warrant checking its wiring. I would not suspect the battery or the alternator any further, since a battery's hardest job is cranking over the engine, and if is consistently doing that, then it means that the battery is healthy enough to have most of its capacity, and the alternator is working to keep that capacity available.
