There is probably nothing you can do about the noisy drummer next door. At the most you can ask him to play something sensible or find a new teacher and practice hard. Jokes apart, you can tell the parents of the drummer that their son's/daughter's drumming is disturbing and it would really kind of them to soundproof his/hers room so you don't get disturbed by the drummer boys/girls drumming antics. You can ask his/her parents to shift his kit in the garage or some other place. There is one more thing that you can do, you can ask the drummer to pad his entire drum kit which can lower the drum levels by about 40 to 50 per cent. If every thing else fails, then the only option left is a phone call to your nearest police station.
